NEW ARTIST
Erin Brown is an artist who lives with her family in the farmhouse her father grew up in. She got her BFA in Illustration at Rhode Island School of Design. While there, she spent her junior year in Rome, Italy studying in their European Honors program. As part of that program, she developed a love for drawing buildings and for keeping a sketchbook. After graduation, she spent ten years as a writer and illustrator for American Greetings in Cleveland, Ohio. Afterwards, she returned to Fairfield in order to reconnect with family and pursue an MAT for art education at Mount St. Mary's University in Emmitsburg, MD. Since then, she has worked throughout Adams County teaching art and helping students in four different school districts while also creating her own art and showing it locally.
